Paul E. Boucher, 82, a resident of the NH Veterans Home in Tilton passed away on Wednesday November 23, 2011.
Paul was born in Nashua on December 20, 1928, a son of the late Samuel and Elmire (Belanger) Boucher.
He was the husband of Irene (Gamache) Boucher of Nashua.
Paul had been a lifelong Nashua resident. Prior to his retirement, he had been employed by Nashua Corporation. Paul was a Korean War veteran having served in the US Army. He continued his Army training and became an Army Ranger and was discharged in 1953 with the rank of Sergeant. Paul enjoyed his summer home with his family, was and avid golfer and an avid skier. He was a member of the American Legion Post #2 in Manchester. Paul had been a communicant of St. Louis de Gonzague Church.
He was predeceased by two sisters; Claire Boucher and Cecile Shislo and a brother; Raymond Boucher.
Besides his wife, Paul is survived by: three sons, Ronald Boucher and his wife Nancy of Peachtree City, GA, David Boucher and his wife Beth of Reading, MA and Peter Boucher and his wife Shelly of Sutton, NH; six grandchildren, Courtney, Kendra, Christopher, Chelsey, Tanner and Shane; two sisters, Gloria Desjardins of Wolfeboro, NH and Jeanne Skorb and her husband Richard of Nashua; two brothers, Henry Boucher of Nashua and Leonard Boucher and his wife Claire of Nashua; also several nieces, nephews and cousins.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Monday, November 28, 2011 in St. Louis de Gonzague Church, 48 West Hollis St., Nashua. Burial will follow in St. Louis Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Alzheimer's Association 311 Arsenal St., Watertown, MA 02472.
