- [S5] Obituary.
Bruce Arthur Gamache, age 60, died suddenly on Sunday, August 1, 2021, while visiting with his mother and father. He was born February 11, 1961, in Nashua, NH to parents Arthur and Patricia (Haggerty) Gamache.
Bruce loved cooking and creating some of his own meals. Every Friday was pizza night. He always tried to perfect it until he was satisfied with the outcome, and claimed it was, ?the best.? He always loved his music. In his early years, he was a member of the Trojans Drum and Bugle Corp. in Nashua, NH. As he got older, Bruce and his brother Steven formed a band called Alien Wails, who were well known during the 1990?s. He loved playing drums and that is what he did. Within the last ten years, Bruce was in a band called Acoustic Bagoostix. He played bongos, and was lovingly referred to as, ?Bongo Brucie.? He never missed a rehearsal and was always very enthusiastic when they had a venue to play. Through the years, he was a devoted follower of the Grateful Dead and Jerry Garcia. He traveled out to California for a concert as well as all along the East Coast. If there was a concert close enough to drive to, he was there. Bruce loved to collect records. He had quite a collection and spent a lot of his time listening to and enjoying them. As fate would have it, Bruce passed away on Jerry Garcia?s birthday.
Bruce loved getting together with his family which he did quite often. He would linger until everyone left, then he would say his goodbyes. You will be missed Bruce, but never forgotten. We love you!
Bruce is survived by his parents Arthur and Patricia, sisters Deborah Martel and fiancé Gary Martin, Lynn Dumont and her husband Kevin, brother Steven Gamache and his wife Dee, aunt Barbara Gamache, uncles David Haggerty and Walter Charpentier, nieces Amy Sousa, Molly Martel, Ava Dumont and nephews Philip Gamache, and Ryan Gamache.
