ATTLEBORO ? Eileen L. "Midge" Gamache, 80, of Garfield Avenue, died Saturday in the Sterling Health Care Center, Sterling. She was the widow of Bernard Gamache.
Born in Attleboro on Feb. 11, 1923, she was the daughter of the late Peter and Mary (Casey) Menard. She was a 1941 graduate of Attleboro High School and had resided in Attleboro all her life.
Mrs. Gamache had enjoyed spending time with her family.
She is survived by a daughter, Donna O'Brien of Lunenburg; two sons, Dennis Gamache of Scottsdale, Ariz., and Brian Gamache of Lake Forest, Ill.; a sister, Evangeline Maher of North Attleboro; four grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.
She was the sister of the late Bernadette Savoie, Doris and Marjorie Tetreault, Ruth Colomb, and Jean Burns.
A funeral service will be held at 9:30 a.m. Tuesday in the Duffy-Poule Funeral Home, 20 Peck St., followed by a funeral Mass at 11 in St. John the Evangelist Church, 133 North Main St. Burial will take place in St. John's Cemetery, West Street.
