June L. (Pledger) Gamache, 78, of Marlborough died Tuesday, November 25, 2014 at the Beth Israel Deaconess Hospital in Boston.
She leaves her children John S. Gamache and Mark R. Gamache both of Marlborough and Lynne S. Bianchini of Long Beach, N.Y. and Andrea L. Gamache of Southborough. She also leaves a brother Frederick Pledger and his wife Barbara of England and also leaves grandchildren and many great grandchildren.
She was born in London, England the daughter of the late Frederick and Sarah (Zugg) Pledger and has lived in Marlborough for most of her life.
She worked as a certified Nurse's assistant for over 43 years, mostly for the Sisters of the Good Shepard in Marlborough retiring in 2011.
She was a high school graduate and was a member of St. Matthias Church in Marlborough. She was also a member of the Marlborough American Legion Aux and a member of the Marlborough #1192.
A funeral Mass will be celebrated on Monday, December 1, 2014 at 10 A.M. in St Matthias Church, 409 Hemenway Street, Marlborough. Burial will follow at Evergreen Cemetery, Marlborough. Calling hours will be held on Sunday from 2 to 5 P.M. at the John P. Funeral Home Inc., 57 Main Street, Marlborough.
