Deceased Name: Mary Ann Gamache, 67
FITCHBURG -- Mary Ann (Fagan) Gamache, 67, of 14 Ashburnham St., died Monday, July 14, in HealthAlliance Burbank Campus after an illness.
She leaves her husband of 48 years, George E. Gamache; two daughters, Julie Lundergreen of Shell Beach, Calif., and Susan R. McPartlan of Aalsmeer, Holland; a son, Paul E. Gamache of Fitchburg; a sister, Margaret Hawkins of Fitchburg; and a grandson. A brother, James Fagan, predeceased her. She was born in Fitchburg, daughter of Dr. John and Mary C. (Flynn) Fagan, and lived here most of her life. She also lived several years in Ware. She graduated in 1953 from Fitchburg High School.
Mrs. Gamache worked in the rectory at St. John's Church in Townsend for several years, retiring in 1990. Previously, she worked at the Chemlock Co. She had attended Sacred Heart Church, where she was a member of the women's guild and assisted in church fairs.
The funeral Mass will be held at 10 a.m. Thursday, July 17, in St. John the Evangelist Church, 1 School St., Townsend. Calling hours are 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday, July 16, in Louis M. Isabelle Funeral Home, 316 Clarendon St. Donations may be made to the American Cancer Society, Colon Cancer Research, 30 Speen St., Framingham, MA 01710.
