On Thursday, August 30, 2012 Bernard Louis Gamache of Fort Kent, Alberta, passed away at the age of 78 years. Bernard will be forever loved and remembered by his loving wife of 53 years: Beatrice (Vasseur); five sons: Louis (Teresa) Gamache of Bonnyville, AB, Pierre Gamache of Iron River, AB, Thomas (Shannon) Gamache of Bonnyville, AB, Claude (Twila-Jo) Gamache of Bonnyville, AB, Richard (Angel) Gamache of Bonnyville, AB; four daughters: Anna (Gilles) Choquet of Bonnyville, AB, Elizabeth (Malcolm) MacLean of Bonnyville, AB, Claudette (Daniel) Dugas of Bonnyville, AB, Josee Gamache of St. Albert, AB; two brothers: Roger (Jeannine) Gamache of Bonnyville, AB, Gaston (Peggy) Gamache of Edmonton, AB; two sisters: Alida (Edward) Kwiatkowski of Goodridge, AB, Lorraine Kwiatkowski of Goodridge, AB; twenty four grandchildren: Patrick, Danielle, Mireille, Luc, Ryan, Mathew, Malcolm Jr., Nathan, Chantelle, Amanda, Winston, Justin, Riley, Nicole, Joshua, Shelbea, Gavin, Joleen, Karson, Khade, Lane, Justice, Therese, Evan; three great-grandchildren: Avila, Aeden, Liam; as well as numerous nieces and nephews. Bernard was predeceased by his parents: Pierre and Beatrice Gamache; two brothers: Edmond Gamache, Denis Gamache; sister: Sister Lucille Gamache; grandson: Michael Joseph Dugas.
Mass of Christian Burial, Tuesday, September 4, 2012 at 11:00 a.m. at St. Joseph Roman Catholic Church, Fort Kent, AB with Father Thomas Dieu Nguyen as celebrant. Honourary Pallbearers: Ryan Maclean, Mathew Maclean, Patrick Choquet, Riley Carey; Pallbearers: Malcolm Maclean Jr., Lane Gamache, Nathan Gamache, Luc Choquet, Winston Gamache, Justin Carey.
