GAMACHE, Rita Lillian (née Jalbert), 89, of Law-rence, Massachusetts, died December 24, 2015 in Seattle, Washing-ton. Rita was a viva-cious and engaging person, who had a spectacular laugh and a great sense of humor. She had unbridled energy and an unceasing devotion to crafts. She was very gene-rous, and used her talent with crafts to support many charitable causes. Rita enthusiastically shared her skills and spent countless hours teaching others what she had mastered. As a mother and friend, she was encouraging, supportive, and loving. Rita was born in Lawrence, Massachusetts on June 30, 1926. She raised her family there after marrying Roger Paul Gamache, also of Law-rence, in 1946. She worked many years in Letourneau's Pharmacy in Lawrence. In the 1960's, she started her own business-Readings by Rita-through which she was able to make use of her unique insights into the human condition to help others. Later, she and Roger lived in Nashua, New Hampshire, and then for many years in New Port Richey, Florida, where they made many friends. In 2014, for health reasons, she moved to Seattle to be closer to her daughter. Rita is survived by her son, Roger (Carol) Gamache of Rye, New Hampshire; son, Len (Jody) Gamache of Toronto, Ontario, Canada; daughter, Ruth (David) Mahan of Seattle, Washing-ton; granddaughter, Kristin (William) Arnold of Kittery, Maine; and great-grandson, Brady Arnold. She was preceded in death by her parents, Marie and Wilfred Jalbert; her husband, Roger; and siblings, Angie, Jeanne, Yvette, Albert, Theresa, and Gerry.
